Anyone interested in one of the following titles?  These are only loosely MMO games in some cases since you can play on large servers that are privately owned but for the most part the worlds are supposed to be stable and evolving.  Some of these are modern day, some medieval.  Generally they all have some form of crafting and building and clans and pvp and gathering.

DayZ                http://dayz.com/game

H1Z1:               https://www.h1z1.com/home

Gloria Victis:       http://gloriavictisgame.com/

Life Is Feudal:    http://lifeisfeudal.com/

First two are zombie apocalypse games, I might pick up H1Z1 anyways just to see how hard it is.

Last two are more like Darkfall/Shadowbane with a heavier crafting focus and both are still in alpha/closed beta phases but you can pre-purchase and get in that way.  Just curious if anyone has any interest in these, working as a group certainly will help in any of these games listed.

I looked into the first two, but there are some crazy issues online with the community of trolls. lol  In DayZ you should do some research before starting and H1Z1 is the same idea and definitely worth researching first.  They look fun but also very frustrating.  H1Z1 for example had a horrible system where you can buy an airdrop crate and they were originally coming with better weapons and gear than is usually found.  I think they fixed this, but I stopped following the game as it just didn't draw me in.  Check out Twitch.tv for streams of the games being played to get a good idea of what they are like live. :)

I haven't seen the other two.

Tree of Life - Seen wiggy playing this, so he might give us some dets ..

Windward - Not really a MMO (No Crafting) but a Fun boat game none the less.

Shroud of the Avatar - I shouldn't even have to mention it ....

Factions: Origins of Malu - Pretty sure they are about to push out the MMO part ..

So I broke down and bought H1Z1.  For $20 if it is crap then it's only twenty bucks.

Initial report:  No character customization other than the clothes you find to wear in the world.  I logged into a "high population" server.  Cant find anyone.  I learned to make a satchel, a bow, arrows and a torch.  Zombies are not a threat.  I shot one with 4 arrows (it still wouldnt die) and finally ran up and hacked it to death with my hand axe.  Nowhere near as many zombies wandering around as I expected.

I like the survival concept and the variety of weapons and the crafting but the world feels empty both in terms of players and zombies.  Keep in mind it's still early access and the developers are still working on it, blah blah blah.

Grayvon:

That Windward game I saw in steam.  Did you buy it?  It's this one right?

Ok apparently Windward has some issues since metacritic only gave it 58/100 so I'm going to avoid that one.
